Hannah directs the Public Utility Commission Program at Advanced Energy Economy, helping to break down regulatory barriers to innovative clean, secure and reliable energy technologies. Previously, she worked on energy policy at the state level for the Maryland Energy Administration and at the federal level for a member of Congress. A lawyer by training, Hannah holds a BA and a JD from Duke and began her career practicing renewable energy law at a large corporate law firm. She lives in Maryland with her husband Vadim and two very silly little boys.
